Southern Fance Spring Camp V.1 April 15 to April 25, 2012

Camp is limited to 25 riders 12 double occupancy rooms +one single room.

Please be aware rooms are VERY nicely designed.. This is not your typical small french hotel room. Room assignments are first come first served.

*NOTE - Families who have need for more than two beds pls. contact me for alternate accomodations.

COSTS: Camp + Double Occupancy Hotel - $1250. Non-refundable deposit of $500 due NLT November 31, 2011 with balance due NLT February 1, 2012. Refunds with 60 days notice.

Daily Fare:

*Itinerary subject to change. Ride times and distance will be adjusted as needed and announced before each days ride.

General Daily Schedule:

Breakfast - 8am

Departure for riding - 9:30am

Wine and Cheese - 6 pm

Dinner - 8:30 pm (By reservation. Approx cost for fix prix dinner is $20euros )

Ride Schedule:

April 15 - Arrive to the hotel and check in. Tom and I will greet you with tools in hand. Our goal today is to ride for 1.5 hrs. to shake the "junk out".

Note no. of seats for dinner before the ride

April 16 - We ride north to cross the lake and get a peek at the Gorges that surround town. Approx. riding time is 5 hrs. *Remember to sign the dinner sheet.

April 17 - Today we'll head north and west twords Luberon. This ride will includes some amazing roads that are not well traveled. Ride time will be approx. 5 hrs.

April 18 - *Possible Market day: amazing local cheve cheese, great shops. Return to camp for a fun 2 hrs. ride before dinner. *Remember to sign the dinner sheet.

April 19 - Big Day! We will ride to Gorge du Verdon with to rides to choose from. The shorter version of this ride will take approx 4 hrs. and the "full monte" will take 6+ with an extended climb and breathtaking views.

April 20 - *Possible Hike day. Very ambitious hike around the local gorge. We might see mtn. goats. Wine / cheese after. *Remember to sign the dinner sheet.

April 21 - Camp Directors choice! Tom and I will cook up a REALLY fun and fairly flat ride today. We hope to swing past a few wineries to scout out something special for happy hour. Approximate ride time today will be 4 1/2 hrs.

April 22 - Today is very ambitious ride that will test your legs and wow the senses. Bring a camera you have been warned!!! Plan on an all day ride at moderate pace.

April 23 - Tour of Sainte Victoire. We ride to AIX today. Be prepared for lots of turns and city sights before we head back to Quinson. This is a long day at moderate speeds, we will take several quick stops for coffee and pastries. Approximate ride time today is 6 hrs.

April 24 - Camp Directors choice! We'll pick one or more routes today to find the perfect roads for a final ride. Todays ride will be 4 hrs.

April 25 - Departure Day. If you are up for it I'll lead an crack of dawn ride to say goodbye to our host town.
